The brand’s four properties are the stuff of dreams – but which one is right for you?
Located on the Society Islands, the benefit of having four properties is that island-hopping travelers have the convenient option of booking with a single brand for stays on Tahiti, Moorea and Bora Bora. And it’s easy to develop a sense of affection for the brand’s beautiful French Polynesia properties, thanks to impressive design features, well-maintained facilities, great Polynesian dining and entertainment and a respect for the environment around them.
But which properties are right for you? Here’s a little cheat sheet to help you find your perfect match.
InterContinental Moorea Resort & Spa
This family-friendly resort offers a variety of bungalow configurations, a dolphin center and a turtle sanctuary sure to be a hit with all ages.
InterContinental Tahiti Resort
Those looking for real downtime will enjoy lounging in a sand-bottom infinity pool with gorgeous views of Moorea’s silhouette at this property.
InterContinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso
This spectacular property lies on a virgin beach called “two hearts” in Tahitian, and is reached by water taxi. The resort’s rooms are the brand’s most luxurious, including 80 overwater villas with bedrooms that have a glass wall overlooking the lagoon. There is also a 13,000-square-foot Deep Ocean Spa with inventive treatments and a thalassotherapy center.
InterContinental Bora Bora Le Moana
As opposed to the trendy the InterContinental Thalasso, this property has a more intimate and discreet feel. Here, the general manager of 20 years personally greets and sends off every guest. The rooms are less modern than at InterContinental Thalasso, but include Polynesian materials such as bamboo, mother of pearl and pandanus.
