From Elvis Presley, to the Fab Four, to fire dancers, Waikiki’s diverse entertainment scene is ready to engage all types of travelers. Whether you’re in the mood for time-honored Polynesian music and culture or a magical spectacle, these five live stage shows are highlights among Waikiki’s attractions.

Te Moana Nui: Tales of the Pacific, at Pacific Beach Hotel

Introduced in February 2014, this new theatrical experience combines state-of-the-art sound and lighting, top-tier entertainers, vibrant costumes, and compelling storytelling. The show reveals the stories of the ancients who made their way to the Hawaiian Islands, using traditional songs, dances, and chants.

Cabarae, at Hilton Hawaiian Village
Set to open in summer 2014, a mix of cabaret and variety acts make this show special. Music, comedy, acrobatics, and magic take place in a new 10,000-square-foot showroom. Before the show, guests can also enjoy drinks on an open-air lanai, while a performer meet-and-greet is available after the spectacle.

Rock-A-Hula at Legends in Concert Waikiki, at the Royal Hawaiian Theater
This revamped revue now includes more local talent and Hawaiian influences. Taking place in a 750-seat multimillion-dollar theater, tribute artists channel stars including Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and Britney Spears, enhancing the experience with actual concert footage shown on a huge screen.

Magic of Polynesia, at the Holiday Inn Waikiki Beachcomber Resort
An innovative blend of illusions and Polynesian songs, dances, and chants are presented in this show. Award-winning magician John Hirokawa blends humor, surprises, and pyrotechnics, while an ensemble of Polynesian entertainers add a sense of place to the production.

Fourever Fab, at Pacific Beach Hotel
Waikiki’s Beatles show features band members who have been performing the Fab Four’s songs for more than 20 years. The program spans The Beatles’ vast repertoire from 1964-69, with sound-alike vocals and instrumentals.
