Iconic NYC retailers are offering shopping specials for the Super Bowl

Until February 10, New York’s Metropolitan Museum is showcasing vintage football cards in honor of the Super Bowl.
Everyone in New York is getting in the Super Bowl spirit – including some of the city’s most iconic retailers. To celebrate the hometown game, football-inspired shopping events are taking place at Bloomingdale’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Macy’s.

Macy’s
The fourth floor of the iconic Macy’s at Herald Square has been transformed into Super Bowl central, hosting an enormous NFL shop with exclusive merchandise, New York and New Jersey themed products, customizable merchandise, and championship gear. In addition, visitors can see football themed displays in the store’s windows, get autographs from NFL players, and enjoy other scheduled events. The impressive spread is said to be the largest NFL Super Bowl shop in history.

Bloomingdale’s
Stop by Bloomingdale’s to see a window display of 48 football helmets decorated by fashion designers including Donna Karan, Diane von Furstenberg, and Betsey Johnson. The helmets are being auctioned off online to benefit the charitable works of the NFL Foundation. For more Super Bowl souvenirs, visit Bloomingdale’s pop-up boutique for game-related gear, or enter the store’s sweepstakes to win a football-themed package including a $1,000 gift card and Super Bowl accessories.

Saks Fifth Avenue
From January 30 to February 2, the Manhattan flagship Saks store will host a luxury “Fifth Avenue Tailgate Party” at its restaurants, serving an upscale spin on tailgate food. In addition, the retailer will have a World of Versace pop-up shop with special merchandise, nail polish in team colors, a focus on cold-weather attire, and a Mizzen+Main shop with men’s athletic clothing. Shoppers also have the chance to win prizes of SaksFirst points and New York shopping trips through the store’s sweepstakes.

Bergdorf Goodman
For that extra little splash of Super Bowl luxury, Bergdorf Goodman has collaborated on a Pinterest board with a Super Bowl theme. Out of town game attendees can visit the board for inspiration on where to dine and shop, what to wear to keep warm, and other tips for football enthusiasts visiting the Big Apple.
