Ritz-Carlton Aruba is now open on Palm Beach

Aruba\’s official languages are Dutch and Papiamento, though Arubans generally also speak English and Spanish.
Ritz-Carlton has officially opened its fifth Caribbean hotel, the Ritz-Carlton Aruba. Located on Palm Beach, on the island’s northwestern coast, the 320-room property has four restaurants, the island’s largest spa, a 24-hour casino, two pools, private beach cabanas, meeting space, the Ritz Kids Club, and the 35-room Club Level on the seventh floor.

At the opening ceremony for the hotel, Marriott International Chairman Bill Marriott pledged that the hotel will remain committed to environmental stewardship and social responsibility.

In that vein, Marriott International has announced an island-wide program to launch an environmental curriculum in Aruba’s primary schools, and to support island efforts to develop a tourism institute that will enable Arubans to enter the hospitality industry.

Marriott International now has five hotels in Aruba: Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino, Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino, Marriott Aruba Ocean Club, Marriott Aruba Surf Club, and the Ritz-Carlton.

In the Caribbean, the Ritz-Carlton brand also has two hotels in Puerto Rico, one in St. Thomas and one in Grand Cayman.
