These trendy hotels offer new options for city visitors

Guests staying at the Hotel Modern New Orleans have easy access to the St. Charles streetcar, which picks up a block away.

Hotel Modern New Orleans
This 135-room hotel located on Lee Circle in the city’s Warehouse Arts District was converted from a YMCA into a hotel years ago, and recently underwent a renovation and name change. Now, the hotel offers sleek and hip rooms, with a combination of unique antiques and modern technology. A retro lounge area named Bellocq’s features live music, a burlesque show, and original cocktail creations. The hotel’s restaurant, Tamarind, is run by New Orleans chef Dominique Macquet. For an easy transportation option, take the St. Charles streetcar, which picks up a block away from the hotel.

Hotel Mazarin
Formerly the St. Louis Hotel, the Hotel Mazarin on Bienville Street recently underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation of its 102 rooms. The hotel features meeting space, complimentary Wi-Fi, a fitness center, a business center, and the adjacent Patrick’s Bar Vin. Guests are treated to amenities such as newspapers, robe and slippers, in-room spa services, and a welcome refreshment.

The Saint Hotel New Orleans
The Saint Hotel New Orleans was transformed from the historic Audubon Building on Canal Street, and now offers 166 modern guestrooms. The hotel is also home to the Sweet Olive restaurant, as well as the Burgundy Bar and Halo Rooftop Bar.
