Downtown Las Vegas offers an increasingly interesting dining scene

Don’t hesitate to head off the Vegas Strip to eat – try the buzzing restaurant scene on Fremont St. or Downtown3rd.
The Las Vegas Strip has become almost as well-known for its incredible dining as its extensive nightlife – but its not the only place in Vegas that has a dining scene worth discovering. More and more interesting restaurants are popping up in downtown Vegas, turning it into a great area to grab a bite.

The growth in downtown dining is most apparent in the Fremont East Entertainment District and nearby Downtown3rd, attracting locals as well as tourists. From family-friendly restaurants to late-night establishments, there are options all through the night that offer innovative and diverse vibes. A few hotspots in the downtown area include:

Le Thai, a local favorite for delicious Thai cuisine.

Triple George Grill, dishing out casual and comforting American food.

Joe Vicari’s Andiamo Italian Steakhouse, located in the D hotel and serving up handmade pasta and bread and premium meats.

La Comida, offering Mexican fare in a welcoming atmosphere.

Park on Fremont, a laid-back gastropub where the lush garden setting is as much a draw as the extensive beer menu.

And, for some post-meal excitement, the nightlife scene at Insert Coins is worth checking out. A video arcade, bar, and happening music scene, visitors here can drink, dance, and play to their hearts’ content.
