Disney's Art of Animation Resort

A highlight of Disney World resorts, the Art of Animation Resort perfectly complements a Disney World vacation. The resort is designed with four themed wings featuring the movies “Finding Nemo,” “Cars,” “The Lion King” and “The Little Mermaid.” Comprised of 1,120 family suites and 864 standard rooms, the hotel features Disney detail built into every corner of the resort.

Family suites include two bathrooms, a kitchenette, and three separate sleeping areas that can accommodate up to six guests. For parents, there is a master bedroom with a queen-size bed, while kids have options including a pull-out sofa bed and a dining table that transforms into a double-size murphy bed.

The property features extensive on-site swimming areas, including the Cozy Cone pool in the Cars wing, Flippin’ Fins Pool in The Little Mermaid Courtyard and the main pool area, Big Blue, measuring 11,859 square feet. At Big Blue, guests can swim with the “Finding Nemo” characters while underwater speakers play music and messages. There’s also a Schoolyard Sprayground and a dry children’s play area.

Resort dining includes a poolside snack bar, pizza delivery and a food court. Other features of the property include the Pixel Play Arcade, Drop Off pool bar and a gift shop, giving tons of options for fun mid-day breaks from the amusement park crowds.
