NYC has a lot of great parks, but the Highline is unique as it’s an elevated park that sits along an abandoned rail track. It’s 1.45 miles long and offers impressive views. Take a stroll, check out the outdoor art, or relax at one of the many seating areas.

Watch a Taping of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

If you’re a Jimmy Fallon fan, you can watch a taping while in the city. Tickets are released a month ahead of time, so you need to pre-plan. Apply for tickets, and you’ll then be added to a waiting list. At least two weeks before the taping date you’ll be notified if you’re a ticket holder. Tapings happen at NBC studios and start most days at 5 PM, so check-in usually begins at 3:15 PM.

Visit the Museum of Modern Art

In NYC, quite a few museums offer special free admission dates. This is a great way to see top-rated museums without shelling out a lot of money for your whole group. The Musum of Modern Art has free admission hours every Friday from 4 PM to 8 PM.
