Universal Orlando is planning a Diagon Alley area for 2014
Universal Orlando\’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter is expanding in 2014 to include Diagon Alley and the Hogwarts Express.
In partnership with Warner Bros. Entertainment, Universal Orlando is expanding the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. A new themed environment, Diagon Alley, is scheduled to open in 2014, as well as London-themed areas.
The new areas are set to feature shops, a restaurant and an attraction based on Gringotts bank from the Harry Potter stories. In addition, park guests will be able to travel between “London” and the Hogsmeade area onboard the Hogwarts Express.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is located in Universal’s Island of Adventure theme park.
