“Despicable Me” suites are designed to capture the excitement and playfulness of the laboratory from the movies. Suites feature a kids’ room with custom-designed missile beds and bedding inspired by the films’ Minion characters. The Minions also decorate the walls, repelling from the ceiling and engaging in their ridiculous antics. Other playful touches from the films enhance the setting for a completely enveloping “Despicable Me” experience. The adults’ room includes a king-size bed in the hotel’s Italian luxury design.
The newly renovated suites can be reserved for rates beginning at $594 per night. Hotel guests staying three to seven nights can opt for the Stay More, Save More promotion, which includes early park admission and free Universal Express Unlimited ride access, for a savings of up to 30 percent.
