Have you ever been on an Uber ride where the driver constantly chit-chats and asks questions while you need a moment to yourself? It used to be a gamble as to whether you’d have an overly chatty Uber driver, but that’s no longer the case! Uber introduced Uber Comfort at the beginning of July. You’ll enjoy a comfortable experience, and you can control car temperature preferences and can decide if you want to have a quiet ride.
As you probably know, Uber has several levels of ride types available within their app. For example, there’s UberX, UberXL, and UberBLACK. Now riders will be able to book an Uber Comfort ride! Here are some perks that come with this experience:
Enjoy a more spacious, newer vehicle. When you take an Uber Comfort ride, you’ll get to ride in a newer mid-size car.
There are minimum legroom requirements in place for vehicles that can be used for Uber Comfort rides, so go ahead an stretch out and enjoy!
You can pre-select your temperature preferences, and whether you wish to have a quiet ride, so you have the experience you need when you hop in the vehicle.
Drivers must have at least a 4.85 rating to be eligible to drive Uber Comfort rides. They must also have a vehicle that meets a set of standards that are in place.
Uber Comfort is currently being tested out in 40+ U.S. cities.
