Spending time at the airport can be boring and overwhelming. But, if you head straight to the airport lounge, you can relax and have a more exciting time. There are some top-rated airport lounges that can offer an amazing experience. Before your next travel adventure, be sure to check in early and enjoy these impressive airport lounges.

British Airways Concorde Room

London Heathrow Airport, Terminal 5A South

If you’re traveling out of Europe, you’ll love the British Airways Concord Room at London Heathrow Airport. This elegant lounge isn’t your typical buffet-style set up. Instead, you will sit in your own private booth or table and order off of a menu. Enjoy your table service as you wait for your flight. If you’re feeling thirsty, there’s a mix of creative cocktails available for ordering as well as plenty of high-end liquors and wines. At this lounge, complimentary 15-minute spa treatments are also available. This lounge is only available to those flying first or business class with British Airways.

Dallas Fort Worth, Terminal D

American Express Centurion Lounges are known for being amazing, but the Dallas Fort Worth location is one of our favorites. It offers a spacious setup, plenty of comfortable seating areas, a help-yourself food area with hot and cold dishes, and a bar with made-to-order drinks and premium liquor. This lounge also has a spa! Travelers are offered a complimentary 15-minute spa treatment, which is a nice touch. Finally, there are shower facilities available, too. Lounge access is complimentary for global Platinum Card and Centurion Members.

Another European airport lounge that impresses is the Air France La Premiere Lounge in the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. Once you arrive at the lounge, sit down and enjoy a meal—order whatever you’d like from the full menu, including wine. This lounge has its own whiskey bar, and snack and dessert bar. In addition, afternoon tea is available. If you need to freshen up before your flight, there is a shower area. A separate quiet area is also available for those who want to get some rest. This lounge also has a spa—Première passengers are entitled to a complimentary 30-minute treatment and additional services can be purchased. After spending time in the lounge, you’re driven right to the plane! Talk about exceptional service and truly memorable lounge experience.

Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse

John F. Kennedy Airport, Terminal 4

As for US airport lounges, Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse is another favorite. This well-lit modern lounge space offers a lot. This includes a variety of comfortable seating options, a pool table, waiter service featuring an ala carte menu, a large bar area, and shower facilities. Like many of the other impressive lounges in this list, Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse also has a spa. Complimentary 15-minute treatments are available and additional spa services can be booked for purchase. Virgin Atlantic Upper-Class passengers and Flying Club Gold members can access this lounge.

These airport lounges offer experiences that will change the way you think of airports.
