Popular Grace Bay Resort Celebrates 10th Anniversary
Celebrating 10 years as one of Turks & Caicos’ leading resorts, the oceanfront Seven Stars Resort & Spa has invested $12 million in its third property wide capital improvement effort. The latest plan includes the recently completed re-design of its expansive suites and living room lobby with new furnishings and finishes; a second adult pool (pictured); upgraded and renovated fitness center; and an expansion of its spa and boutique, with enhanced culinary programming and offerings scheduled to be rolled later this year.
Throughout the resort’s 167 suites and open-air lobby, a carefully curated collection of stylish leather seating and sophisticated furnishings in richly-colored, nature-inspired teals, blues, tans and browns connect guests with the area’s pristine beaches and famously tranquil waters. Together with an inviting array of finely textured fabrics and finishes, they create a clean and sophisticated sensibility that encourages guests to lounge and savor their surroundings.
Adding eye-catching pops of blues, teals, reds, browns and yellows is a collection of one-of-kind commissioned works by artist Andrew Humke, who worked in residence at Seven Stars Resort & Spa for six months taking inspiration from the island, its people and surroundings to create an installation of more than 600 unique and colorful framed works in his signature abstract style which adorn each guestroom and the living room lobby.

With the resort’s heated, salt-water main pool serving as its centerpiece, Seven Stars Resort & Spa recently completed the addition of a second adult pool overlooking Grace Bay. Located adjacent to the resort’s West Deck, the second heated, salt-water pool provides guests with an equally stunning backdrop to enjoy the oceanfront landscape along with its own dedicated team of poolside attendants.
With a continued focus on wellness, the resort’s recent enhancements also include the expansion of The Spa & Boutique at Seven Stars Resort with newly-added manicure/pedicure stations and a meditation lounge offering a quiet and soothing space for guests. Dedicated to the promotion of overall wellness both inside and out, The Spa offers a menu of services and treatments designed to help guests relax, rejuvenate and restore.
The Spa is complimented by the newly renovated fitness center, along with a new fleet of complimentary bikes for guests to explore Providenciales and enjoy island life. An expanded schedule of chi-centering morning yoga clases are also offered complimentary to guests on the resort’s open-air West Deck overlooking the beach, along with more invigorating motorized or non-motorized watersports also available.
Seven Stars Resort & Spa’s enhancements also include new culinary and beverage offerings and programming, with the addition of a private dining room later this year to accommodate chef’s table experiences for small groups in a more intimate setting. Also planned are two organic gardens that will allow the resort’s culinary team to grow their own herbs and vegetables, including one located above the resort’s signature Seven Restaurant that will double as an open-air rooftop garden and private dining space.
Recently rolled out, is Seven’s first-ever wine-tasting and pairing program under the direction of the resort’s new Sommelier, Mia Martensson, who also curates the resort’s extensive international wine list. Meanwhile, at The Bar at Seven, guests were recently introduced to a new interactive mixology master class where guests can sip and sample as they learn how to prepare some of the resort’s most popular libations.
The resort’s new culinary and beverage offerings enhance the resort’s award-winning Seven restaurant which features the freshest seafood and innovative culinary offerings prepared by talented Chef Edwin Gallardo, with dedicated menus for gluten-free, vegetarian and other preferences. For guests who prefer to dine al fresco while overlooking Grace Bay Beach, the resort also offers lunch and dinner at The Deck.
Rounding out the resort’s food and beverage offerings, and conveniently located between the pool and beach is the Champagne Shack, which allows guests to relax poolside or on the beach with their own glass or bucket of chilled champagne; while the adjoining Coconut Shack offers refreshing craft pops, local beers, cocktails, and mocktails served in a hand-picked coconut or pineapple. For small groups and couples, Seven Stars Resort & Spa also offers private dining experiences that can be arranged beachside or in-room.
