This privacy policy applies to Your Travel Insider & Luxury Cruise News e-newsletters and all affiliated e-mail communications, web sites, databases and social media activity for all Your Travel Insider owned and operated media properties.

Your Travel Insider and Luxury Cruise News are e-mail newsletters published dba Your Travel Insider – henceforth referred to as YTI or LCN or the company; who own and operate websites, e-mail newsletters, their respective subscriber lists, and other properties where consumers transact and may disclose information to us. These properties include Your Travel Insider Luxury Cruise News.

YTI understands that in interaction with our sites, email and data ( consumers, the user subscriber) may have concerns about safeguarding your privacy online. The Privacy Policy that follows explains our views and practices concerning the privacy and transmission of data acquired by YTI and how these policies may pertain to consumers. Please consider these factors as you make a choice to interact with our websites, subscribe to our e-newsletters and utilize offers that are emailed on behalf of our partners and advertisers. 1. This includes lifestyle information; geographic information related to your state/province, city, or neighborhood; areas of interest, the types of deals that interest you, information collected from web site and e-mail response behavior and social media interactions (such as via Facebook Connect).The following information is automatically collected and/or tracked, if possible, from visitors to YTI owned and operated websites: (1) The home server domain names and IP address, type of computer, and selected web browser (2) Personal, financial, behavioral, demographic and other information gathered though the use of online registration forms, surveys, e-mail interactions, contests, sweepstakes and technology-based tools (3) Information, aggregate or user specific, on visitor interaction with our web pages and e-mails including activity on links included within these websites and e-mails. One of our goals in collecting this automatic information is to help us understand the interests of our users and customize your user experience.

2. Collection of Personal Information

In General.We receive and store any information you enter on our web site, when signing up for the e-newsletters or provide us in any other way. This includes information that can identify you as described above including your first and last name, telephone number, postal and e-mail addresses, user name and password. We may also request information about your travel plans, style, and preferences. You can choose not to provide information to us, but in general some information about you is required in order for you to enjoy the benefits of being a registered member. For example, only registered members are able to post travel tips, upload photos, view “insider scoop” and e-mail content to themselves and others. Additional features that are available only to members and subscribers may be added in the future.

Cookies and other Web Technologies.

Cookies are small data text files and can be stored on your computer’s hard drive (if your Web browser permits). YourTravelInsider.com and its affiliated websites use cookies for the following general purposes:

• To help us recognize your browser as a previous visitor and save and remember any preferences that may have been set while your browser was visiting our site. For example, if you register on our site, we may use cookies to remember your registration information, so you do not need to log into our site each time you visit. We also may record your password in a cookie, if you checked the box entitled “Save this password for automatic sign-in.” Please note that member IDs, passwords, and any other account-related data included in such cookies are encrypted for security purposes.

3. How we use your information

YTI uses the information we collect about you for the following general purposes: for registration and to manage your account, including to facilitate your access to and use of our site; to communicate with you in general, including to provide information about YTI and invitations from the YTI community; to enable us to publish your reviews, and other content to the YTI community; to respond to your questions and comments; to measure interest in and improve our products, services, and web sites; to notify you about special offers and products or services available from us or our partners that may be of interest to you; to otherwise customize your experience with YTI; to solicit information from you, including reader surveys; to create statistical analysis of user behavior; and to inform advertisers of how many consumers viewed and/or clicked an advertisement and other services for our advertisers; and Direct mail campaigns for our clients; to resolve disputes or troubleshoot problems; and to prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activities. This and all other data collected may be added to YTI’s databases and used for future promotional campaigns and e-mail communication. Financial data and other demographic information may be overlaid to subscriber files for the purpose of targeted advertising campaigns.4. When and why YTI discloses Personal Information

We will not disclose your Personal Information to third parties except to:• Affiliated companies (e.g., subsidiaries and other companies owned by or controlled by YTI) who may only use the Personal Information for the purposes described in Section 3 above.• YTI business partners or advertisers, as part of an offer, contest, or other activity that is provided by or in conjunction with YTI and its business partners and in which you have elected to participate.• Effect a merger, acquisition, or otherwise; to support the sale or transfer of business assets; to enforce our rights or protect our property; to protect the rights, property or safety of others, investigate fraud, respond to a government request; or as needed to support auditing, compliance, and corporate governance functions. We may also disclose Personal Information to defend ourselves in litigation or a regulatory action, and when required or advised to do so by law, such as in response to a subpoena, or similar legal process, including to law enforcement agencies, regulators, and courts in the United States and other countries where we operate. If YTI is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or prominent notice on our site of any change in ownership or uses of your Personal Information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your Personal Information.

• Third parties – YTI may from time to time share data with third parties. Partners may be granted permission by YTI, within its sole judgment, to use the personal data for the marketing of products and services’ relevant to users. YTI may disclose to third parties all or part of the information gathered from site visitors and data derived from their online behavior; data enhanced from third-party sources; and information in aggregate form. At the sole discretion of YTI, under applicable law, all data collected by YTI may also be shared with third parties for uses including but not limited to: direct marketing of products and services; creation of additional data products for YTI; appending and/or enhancing the existing data, appending of data to third party data files; validation and data updates; the creation and use of aggregate data products; suppression services, and for comparison and validation with other data properties not owned or controlled by YTI. YTI reserves the right to transfer the data multiple times and concurrently on both a temporary and permanent basis and for an unlimited or unspecified amount of time and for unspecified number and types of uses. By consenting to this privacy policy the visitor permanently waives all rights or restrictions on the use, transmission, storage or transfer of the data and any claim to fees, royalties or other compensation directly or indirectly as a result of YTI’s use, storage, transfer or transmission of the data by YTI, YTI’s partners, vendors, clients, associates and service companies.

5. How you can access your information

_We take reasonable steps to ensure that your information is relevant to its intended use, accurate, and complete. You can access and update your contact information by visiting the Member Profile page on the YTI Web site. You can close your YTI account by contacting us at traffic@yourtravelinsider.com. We will send you an e-mail to confirm your request. Please note that after you close an account, you will not be able to sign in or access any of your personal information. However, you can open a new account at any time. Please also note that we may retain certain information associated with your account in our archives, including for analytical purposes as well as for recordkeeping integrity.

Disclosure By Law.

You acknowledge and agree that we may disclose information you provide if required to do so by law, at the request of a third party, or if we, in our sole discretion, believe that disclosure is reasonable to (1) comply with the law, requests or orders from law enforcement, or any legal process (whether or not such disclosure is required by applicable law); (2) protect or defend the rights or property of the Company or a third party; or (3) protect someone’s health or safety.

6. E-mail and Web Site Offer and Content Liability Statement

Unapproved distribution or use of e-mails sent from Your Travel Insider, Luxury Cruise News or other subsidiaries for commercial purposes is banned. YTI’s travel partners and suppliers are responsible for the offers and promotions found within the e-newsletter and on our web sites. Offers and promotions within e-newsletters may be unavailable, no longer valid or modified at the time e-newsletter is received. YTI, and any YTI affiliates, are not responsible for damages, loss or injury incurred as a result of content and offers published in the e-newsletter or on our web sites. YTI is not responsible for the privacy practices, offers (including prices or terms stated for offers at the time of publishing) or the content of other websites that may be linked to this site or of any third party advertisers on our web sites or in our e-newsletters.

7. Facebook Connect

YTI offers Facebook users the opportunity to interact with friends and to share on Facebook using Facebook Connect. If you are logged into both YTI and Facebook, when you use the Site’s Facebook connection functions, we will link your Facebook account with your YTI account if the email addresses match. If the email addresses do not match, we ask you if you want to link them and you must validate that you control the accounts. If you are already logged into YTI but not logged into Facebook, when you use the Site’s Facebook connection functions, you will be prompted to enter your Facebook credentials or to sign up for Facebook. By proceeding through any of these scenarios, you grant YTI permission to access your Facebook profile information and to use it in accordance with the Facebook terms of use and this Privacy Statement.8. Surveys and Promotions

From time to time our users and subscribers will receive reader surveys to gather information about what our readers are most interested in and their travel habits. This information is to provide subscribers with more personalized and relevant communication as well as gather information on an aggregate level for advertisers. Participation is entirely voluntary. We may also provide you with the opportunity to participate in sweepstakes or other promotions via email or on our website or social networking sites (Facebook, Twitter, etc). If you participate we will request certain personal information from you but participating is always completely voluntary.

9. Unsubscribe

At any time, users can unsubscribe from our e-newsletters by following the link at the bottom of all email communications that are sent on behalf of Luxury Cruise News or Your Travel Insider. Unsubscribing from one newsletter does NOT automatically unsubscribe a user from other YTI owned newsletters (see above for list of other e-publications).10. Consumer Choice – YTI Exclusion ListIt is YTI’s policy to allow any consumer whose information is included in any of YTI’s newsletter lists to ‘opt-out’ of having their information further shared with third party companies or partners and/or for any use by YTI in its data related products or operations as described above, except for the use of that data to ensure the consumer is excluded from future uses.Therefore, YTI maintains an exclusion list of persons who specifically have requested that their data not be further shared with third parties and/or who have requested their data not be used for future marketing purposes by YTI. A person may have their information added to the YTI Exclusion List by sending a written request with their e-mail address first and last names to traffic@yourtravelinsider.com with a request to opt-out of future data sharing and/or marketing operations. It may take up to 30 days for all electronic marketing uses of the data to cease and 60 days for all postal marketing and other uses to cease.11. Collection of Personal Data from children

The information and services provided at YTI’s website, via postal mail or through e-mailings by YTI, its affiliates, sponsors, and advertisers are not intended for children under 18 years of age and YTI does not knowingly market to children under 18 years of age. All contests, sweepstakes, free subscriptions to e-mail newsletters and any other activities offered at our web sites, e-newsletters, postal mailings, social media campaigns, or other e-mail communication are open to United States residents 18 years or older only. YTI will not knowingly permit a child or minor to participate in a contest, sweepstakes or any another activity. If a child or minor wins a drawing, that child’s entry will be voided, and another winner will be drawn. If a child’s or minor’s data is discovered in a YTI database, list or other operation, then YTI will add that data to the YTI Exclusion list and no further data sharing or marketing will be done with that child or minor. It is YTI’s policy to transact and communicate only with persons 18 years or older except as noted below.

12. YTI’s right to contact users

YTI reserves the right to contact subscribers and registered site visitors regarding account status and changes to subscriber agreements, this privacy policy, and any other relevant policies and agreements..

13. Acceptance of Privacy Statement

Your use of our website(s) and/or as an active email subscriber, including any dispute concerning privacy, is subject to this privacy statement and your use of web sites and email subscriptions serve as an acceptance of the practices set out in this privacy statement. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement page and any other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We reserve the right to modify this privacy statement at any time, so please review it frequently. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here, or by other means, such as email, at our discretion. Your continued use of any portion of the site following posting of the updated privacy statement will constitute your acceptance of the changes.
