Inside, stroll peacefully hand in hand to view one of the largest mosaics in France.
Rue des Martyrs
A walk down this street will make you feel like local lovers. Starting at the Notre-Dame-de-Lorette church and ending near the Place des Abbesses, bourgeois and bohemian vibes mix along this route, which is filled with family-owned shops, antique jewelry, boutiques, and restaurants for a perfectly Parisian afternoon.
Le Mur des Je T’aime
The name of this site translates to the “I Love You Wall,” so is there any doubt that it’s suited to couples? Located at the Place des Abbesses in Montmarte, the wall displays the phrase “I love you” in 250 different languages. Composed of hundreds of lava-glazed squares, the artwork represents reconciliation and togetherness – inspiration for couples from all over.
Musee de la Vie Romantique
Grab that special someone for a walk through this 1830 house-turned-museum, where the first floor commemorates romantic novelist George Sand and the second floor houses the paintings of Ary Scheffer. The property’s charming rose garden is another romantic hideaway here, while the seasonal tea room (open from March to October) is the perfect place to rest and gaze into each others’ eyes.
