April through June are prime festival seasons in several cities so booking your trip now could put you in the front lines of the best concerts and shows. Coachella: Indio California
It sells out every year so if you want to get in on the Coachella experience, you’ll want to book your flight and get those tickets sooner than later. This is the place to party with celebrities and see some of the hottest bands live on stage in the desert. The 2019 lineup includes Solange, Ariana Grande and Childish Gambino. It’s all going down April 12 -14 and April 19 – 21 in 2019.
New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival
One of the biggest jazz festivals is held in the heart of New Orleans this spring. The lineup includes The Rolling Stones, Santana, and Jimmy Buffet & The Coral Reefer Band. The festival takes place April 25 – 28 and May 2 – 5 2019.
Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas
The ultimate celebration of EDM attracts thousands of people from around the globe to Las Vegas every year. It’s a mix of fantasy and surrealism for an epic escape from reality. Electronic music combined with neon lights, fireworks shows, and live entertainment come together for sensory overload in the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This year’s event takes place May 17 – 19.
Pitchfork Music Festival: Union Park, Chicago
If you’re a fan of indie bands and want to enjoy some great food, art shows, and live entertainment this summer, head to Union Park for this annual event hosted by Pitchfork Media. The three-day event includes a mix of jazz, punk, rock, hip-hop, and electronic music so there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Lollapalooza
Another reason to set your sights on a trip to Chicago is the grand music and entertainment celebration in Grant Park. This year’s events will be held August 1 – 9 and will include a variety of music performances, live entertainment, art shows, and dancing the whole family can enjoy.
