Skip the gambling and try out canyon ziplining, car racing, and other unexpected activities

Dream Racing: Get an adrenaline rush at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where thrill-seekers can get behind the wheel of super expensive race cars such as the Ferrari F430 GT.
Valley of Fire: Nevada’s oldest and largest state park is home to 3,000-year-old Native American petroglyphs within rock formations that go back millions of years. Visitors will also enjoy the gorgeous landscapes, made up of limestone rocks and red sandstone formations.
Sky Combat Ace: Drive 20 minutes to Henderson and you’ll have the chance to fly a fighter plane! It’s the only place in the world where guests can climb into the cockpit – along with a licensed pilot – and speed through the sky at up to 250 miles per hour.
The Mob Museum: Opened last year in downtown, visitors to the Mob Museum will find exhibits and memorabilia with interactive features that illuminate the history of mob culture.
Flightlinez: Located 30 minutes from the Strip near Hoover Dam, Flightlinez takes participants ziplining through Bootleg Canyon. There are several courses – some up to 1,100 feet high – that can be booked at any time of the day or night by groups of eight or more.
Dig This: A playground for those who love big toys, Dig This lets visitors don a hardhat and operate bulldozers and excavators for fun. The whole family can participate in digging giant trenches, stacking 2,000 pound tires, or building huge mounds just outside the Strip.
Neon Museum: This two-acre outdoor museum space exhibits more than 150 vintage neon Vegas signs that date back to the 1930s. Visitors can take hour-long guided tours of this Vegas time warp, though reservations are highly recommended.
