Los Cabos is the perfect place for whale-watching

In early autumn, hundreds of whales travel from the Arctic to the warm waters of the Baja Peninsula, a 12,000-mile migration. The whales, moving at an average speed of four miles per hour, reach the area by late December and stay until late March, before heading back toward the north.
Los Cabos’ shallow waters, ideal climate, and other prime factors make it an ideal spot for whales to bear and rear their young, a one-of-a-kind whale-watching experience. One of the easiest ways to see the whales is actually from the beach, which offers prime viewing of the huge creatures. Many local tour operators offer whale-watching trips onboard all-weather inflatable speedboats, for a comfortable and educational ride out to visit the whales.
