A new and luxurious way to travel like a Roman insider

A hybrid between a luxury hotel and a home rental service, THE GRAND HOUSE exemplifies the glamour and ebullience of Italian style. Each property in THE GRAND HOUSE portfolio has a distinctive identity and layered history. Together, they represent a diverse and unparalleled expression of Italian art, design, and architecture. The curation of the residences is matched by a pioneering approach to hospitality, in which the comfort and flexibility of a home rental are married with the service offerings of a luxury hotel.
A new boutique hotel brand

Almanac Barcelona opened last year just off Passeig de Gracia in the city’s super cool Eixample district. The 91-room hotel is the work of local studio Office of Architecture, which combined two 18th century and 20th-century buildings. The contemporary interiors are brimming with marble and copper accents throughout, while the rooftop bar Azimuth has 360-degree views of the city. Cool touches are around every corner from an iPhone in every room for guests to borrow throughout their stay to a custom scent created by famous nose Jimmy Boyd to their own exclusive brands of Almanac coffee and beer.
A private villa on the Amalfi Coast

Belmond will unveil Belmond Villa Margherita, an elegant summer house in Ravello, on the Amalfi Coast. The 200 square meter villa offers a delightful hideaway from the buzzing coastline and combines Belmond hospitality with the flexibility of your own home. Imagined by interior designer, Eric Egan, the villa comprises two fully equipped suites featuring custom hand-painted murals, alongside a collection of traditional furnishings including 1800s Neapolitan pieces. Ideal for families and larger groups of travelers, the villa offers all the services of a Belmond hotel while granting its residents complete privacy.
